The meeting between coaches Weimar Guzmán and Rubén Darío Higuera strengthened FutbolTech's network of collaboration in Colombia. During the day they shared training methodologies, carried out sports activities, delivered equipment, and accompanied the children and young people of La Parada, a border community where most participants are Venezuelan.
This visit shows how the exchange between teams strengthens the impact of the FutbolTech model.
Coach Weimar Guzmán, from Halcones de Bello and a member of COSDECOL, visited coach Rubén Darío Higuera, who leads the FutbolTech process in La Parada, Norte de Santander.
The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the joint work between both teams, share experiences, and generate new tools for the development of the children and young people who take part in the organization's programs.

La Parada is located on the border between Colombia and Venezuela. Most of the children and young people who take part in this process are Venezuelan and find in sport a space for integration, learning, and hope.

FutbolTech's work in this territory seeks to make the field a safe place where football joins character formation, human accompaniment, and the development of life skills.
The coaches exchanged training methodologies and shared experiences about working with vulnerable communities.

They also held sports activities, spaces for spiritual accompaniment, and an integration match between the participants. During the day, balls, sports equipment, and gifts were handed out to the children, thanks to the support of people and organizations that back Cedecol's mission.

One of the principles of the FutbolTech model is to build a community where coaches learn from one another and share good practices.

These meetings strengthen work in the territory, improve training processes, and allow successful experiences to be multiplied across other teams in the network.
Each visit represents an opportunity to strengthen collaboration, create new alliances, and expand the social impact that football generates when it becomes a tool for human development.
