Community context

We work in an environment influenced by criminal gangs, drug abuse, and street violence, which threaten children and youth. We are located in urban Bello, Antioquia, in the Villa Linda Girasoles neighborhood, a low-income community where Colombian and Venezuelan families live together. We also face social challenges such as dysfunctional households, limited institutional support, and unmet basic needs.

Program goal

Through sports, Halcones Bello seeks to prevent the recruitment and exploitation of children and youth by armed groups and criminal gangs. Our goal is to form responsible citizens with strong social and spiritual values who can positively contribute to Colombian society.

Meet the team

We are a football club focused on social transformation, promoting values that support healthy competition, coexistence, inclusion, respect, and meaningful use of time.
