Internacionales Jr HyS
"Small in size, giant in heart."
Community context
Activities take place inside the HyS shelter, where children and adolescents train and play friendly matches with local youth in Tapachula. We also use external spaces in the city to foster social integration between migrant and refugee participants and the local community.
Program goal
To help children and adolescents on the move discover football as a path to friendship, discipline and respect, reducing social and cultural barriers while keeping alive the passion the sport awakens.
Meet the team
Participants are children and adolescents in forced mobility from different countries, mainly across Latin America. The program uses sport as a practical path for integration and personal growth.
