La Parada Futbol Club
"Keeping children safe through football."
A community at the crossroads
Located at the border, La Parada is a critical transit point where many Venezuelan families arrive seeking refuge and better opportunities. It is a vulnerable environment where children are exposed to daily street risks.
About the program
More than a club, we are a safe space. Our goal is to protect vulnerable children using football as a tool to keep them away from danger while teaching discipline, teamwork and hope.
Meet the team
Most players are Venezuelan children looking for a safe place where they can simply be children.

Coach Ruben
