On November 30, the rematch between Argentina and Colombia at Beyond Bancard Field in NSU, Florida, became more than a sports event. It was a community mobilization point for FutbolTech’s cleat donation campaign.
At the event, attendees were invited to bring new or gently used cleats. These donations directly support children in vulnerable communities in Colombia and Venezuela, where access to basic sports equipment can define whether a child can train safely or not.
FutbolTech also organized interactive activities, including a Kick-Ups challenge with official jerseys as prizes, helping connect fans with the mission in a simple and engaging way.
This model has proven effective: public events aligned with football culture create a practical path for in-kind donations while increasing awareness around long-term youth development.
Beyond one day of competition, the rematch showed how football can activate solidarity at scale and deliver tangible support to communities that need it most.
