    Cesar Augustus

    Founder

Cesar Augustus is a Colombian-American entrepreneur, technologist, and social impact leader. Born in Pereira, Colombia, he endured a turbulent and impoverished childhood and was raised by a single mother who cleaned houses to make ends meet.

At age 12, Cesar migrated to the United States as an undocumented immigrant, alone and accompanied only by a chaperone. His journey began with crossing the Suchiate River—the natural border between Guatemala and Mexico—by makeshift raft. After traveling through Mexico, he crossed the U.S. border at Agua Prieta and endured a grueling 8-hour trip through the Arizona desert, hidden in the back of a pickup truck beneath hay bales with other migrants. He eventually reached Phoenix and, after a brief stay, reunited with his mother in New York City. They soon settled in West Palm Beach, Florida, where Cesar began rebuilding his life.

Throughout middle school and high school, Cesar worked nights and weekends as a janitor, vacuuming office buildings to help support his mother. Cesar dreamed of playing fútbol and owning a pair of cleats, but financial responsibilities meant work always came first. That early discipline and sacrifice would later fuel his entrepreneurial journey.

From janitor to Microsoft-certified software engineer, Cesar transformed adversity into ambition. With a background in software development and political science, he founded multiple successful ventures including iMarketing21 and Dealer Scanning, and helped scale Vantage Recreational Finance into a leading marine finance company.

Driven by a mission to bridge the gap between poverty and opportunity, Cesar launched FutbolTech.org in 2020—a nonprofit platform that integrates soccer, technology, and life skills training for underprivileged youth in Latin America and beyond. Under his leadership, FutbolTech supports Atlético Americano and several grassroots organizations, using sport as a transformative force for social change.

Cesar is also a passionate advocate for Bitcoin as a tool for teaching financial literacy, helping youth and families in underserved communities learn essential skills in saving, budgeting, and digital finance through real-world incentives and education.

He currently serves on the boards of the West Palm Beach Rotary Club and the Center for Financial Literacy at Palm Beach Atlantic University, reflecting his ongoing commitment to community uplift and education.

Cesar brings over two decades of leadership, innovation, and a deeply personal drive to empower the next generation—because he knows firsthand what it takes to rise from the margins.
