This outstanding team recently made history by representing Brazil at the Intercontinental CUP, the first-ever Women’s Futsal Club World Championship organized by FIFUSA in Argentina. With an exceptional campaign—winning 5 out of 6 matches—they reached the final and secured a remarkable world runner-up title, showcasing incredible skill, discipline, and heart. Their journey was further distinguished by receiving the Exemplary Team Award, a recognition for outstanding conduct on and off the court. Adding to the show, striker Beatriz Barcala, who began in Colombo/CEP’s grassroots program at just 9 years old, emerged as the tournament’s top scorer. This achievement reflects the strength of Colombo/CEP’s youth development and their commitment to inspiring the next generation of girls through the power of sport.
