Raquel Ferreira

Raquel Ferreira was born in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, where she began her soccer journey through a social project that sparked her passion for the sport. At the age of 10, she joined Curitiba Cancun, starting her development in youth soccer.

Her rapid growth led her to play professionally for Internacional, one of Brazil’s most prestigious clubs, where she gained valuable experience and recognition. She later competed for Colombo Futsal, an important stage in her career where she developed technical skills, built confidence, and grew as both a player and a leader before taking the next big step in her journey.

At 17, Raquel moved to the United States on a scholarship, competing in strong collegiate leagues while pursuing her education. She graduated with a degree in Kinesiology, combining her academic background with her athletic career. Throughout her journey, she earned several individual awards and distinctions, highlighting her talent, consistency, and leadership on the field.

Now a graduate, Raquel remains committed to reaching the professional level in soccer while also competing in triathlons and sharing her knowledge as a coach. Dedicated, resilient, and passionate about sports, she continues to inspire others by showing that with hard work and faith, it is possible to open doors anywhere in the world.

As a FutbolTech Ambassador, Raquel plays a vital role in connecting FutbolTech* with impactful projects. She was the one who introduced FutbolTech to Colombo CEP Futsal, helping build a partnership that empowers young female athletes in Brazil through sport, education, and opportunity.
